Therapy doesn’t have to mean sitting in a room and talking with someone, although that works really well for a lot of people. Here at the Ventura Counseling & Wellness Center, our team knows that everyone is different. What works for you might not be as effective for someone else. So to give you the right tools and care for your specific preferences and needs, we want to offer a broad range of therapy types. With that goal in mind, we’re launching a new weekly group, “Connecting Through Music.”
This music therapy group can help with stress management, mood improvement, and self-understanding. In fact, studies show that music therapy can help with depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. It delivers benefits like increased joy and motivation and a healthier, deeper connection with yourself. And because “Connecting Through Music” is a group session, you get the benefits of therapeutic group synchrony.
If you would like to join us or are curious about this new group, here are the key details you should know.
