Mark your calendar! This summer, Pride is coming back to Ventura. And this is one you definitely won’t want to miss because the Ventura County Pride Festival is marking its 20th year in 2019!
Come on down to the events August 16th to 18th for a weekend of fun celebrating our local LGBTQ community, supporters, and allies. And you’ll be contributing to a good cause. All the proceeds raised go to the Diversity Collective‘s programs and services.
Pride Weekend Events
Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming Pride festivities.
Friday, August 16th
Pride starts with a Pride Board of Directors Kick-Off Mixer. Location and hours are TBD.
Ready to live it up with your friends and allies? Don’t miss the Pre-Pride Party at Paddy’s Ventura that night from 9 pm to 1:30 am. There will be a full show from the Peaches and Cream Crew, drink specials, two dance floors, and more!
Saturday, August 17th
The main event is an all-day festival in Plaza Park (a new, bigger location). There will be tons (75+!) of fun booths —including our Ventura Counseling & Wellness Center booth with games! — and live shows all day on the main stage. You won’t want to miss the performance from this year’s headliner, Ada Vox from American Idol.
There will also be food trucks, a youth lemonade lounge, a lavender lounge for seniors, and a kids’ zone with drag queen story hour.
Kids 12 and under get in free. General admission is $10. Tickets for students, military, seniors, and people with disabilities are $5.
There will also be a VIP area with headliner meet and greets, swag bags, free alcohol tastings, and more for $40.

And the festival isn’t the only thing Saturday has to offer. Keep the festivities rolling with the Pride After Party at Paddy’s from 9 pm to 1:30 am. The Peaches and Cream Crew will be back with Ada Vox. You’ll also have access to more drink specials and two dance floors!
Sunday, August 18th
Head to Pierpont Inn for Pride Brunch between 11 am and 2 pm. You’ll get a huge brunch buffet plus a full Pride show! Tickets to brunch are $40.
