It’s been a rough week for Ventura County, to say the absolute least. While we were all still reeling from the news of the Borderline shooting, two fires – the Woolsey Fire and the Hill Fire – sparked in our backyards. We don’t have answers, but we do want to offer what we can give: support. Ventura Counseling & Wellness Center is here for you however you need during this incredibly challenging time.
Distance Reiki Healing
If you’ve been feeling like your energy is out of whack in the face of so many traumatic events, reiki healing could help. We’re offering free distance reiki healing to anyone who is interested. All you need to do is email our program direction, Kait, at kait@venturacwc.org. She’ll add you to our nightly group of distance reiki healing.
Reiki is commonly referred to as energy healing. It usually employs touch, but with so much of our county hurting, we want to make it available to as many people as possible. As a result, we’re offering distance reiki every night. Our goal is to help you find balance and stress relief.
Therapy
Our therapists are always available to you. Whether you want to set up a session in our office or just feel like you could benefit from a few minutes on the phone, we’re here. When our therapists are unavailable, we’re also offering peer therapy. In short, our goal is to make sure that you have someone to talk to about your experiences this week. Whether you’ve been feeling burdened, overwhelmed, numb, angry, devastated, or something else entirely, we’re here to listen. We offer confidential, comfortable counseling services. Don’t keep your emotions bottled up where they can overwhelm you. Let’s talk about it.
